Hi, in reply to the practice XC courses in grantham area. There is one up at Ponton, called Ponton Chases. Not used it myself, but know of alot of people from Pony Clubs which use it as a practice course.

15.3 dark bay TB mare 14yrs old Very Happy Hacker for Part loan!
I am looking for someone to loan 3-4 days a week my mare as I have 2 horses and a toddler and the horses are not getting the 100% attention that they deserve. She is 110% bomb proof and absolutely loves to hack out, alone or in company with no problems. She has excellent stable manners and is a real pleasure to do. She is very forward going and is an ex showjumper so somebody with experience is essential and would suit a light weight adult or teenager. She loves to work in the school and loves doing dressage and copes with novice tests with no problem! as well as jumping. We are on a super yard at little Ponton, grantham, right by the UK chasers so the hacking is 5*. The yard provides services and lessons if needed. I am looking for £25 per week with contribution to a half set of shoes every 7 weeks. The loan will involve her stable duties, mucking out etc, but the yard will provide any help you might need, for example, feeding and turning out in the morning so only one trip a day is needed!
